Alsum Produce, based near Arena, Wisconsin, is a family-owned and operated produce company that was started in 1973. The company has farming operations of 1,300 acres in the fertile soil of the lower Wisconsin River Valley near Arena. The farm grows around 1,300 acres of fresh, quality potatoes (Russets, Reds, Whites, Goldens, and Purples). In addition, they offer over many kinds of fresh fruits and vegetables, delivered to your door from their state-of-the-art warehouse.
Alsum Farms and Alsum Transport are a sister company and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Alsum Produce. Alsum Transport currently has a fleet of 26 tractors and 60 trailers. The truck fleet is used to deliver to almost all of our Wisconsin and Illinois customers, some of our eastern and southern U.S. customers, and to haul potatoes and onions from our growers to our packing plant. Together, the three companies serve the needs of our customers by making sure they receive a fresh and marketable product, on-time and of unsurpassed quality.
Today, Alsum Produce has over 140,000 square feet of production and warehouse facilities and employs an average of 120 full-time employees.
