Hosted by Allen Centennial Garden March 22-23, 2019 (March 22: 3:30-5:00pm; March 23: 9:00am-4:00pm) Dejope Hall 640 Elm Drive | Madison, WI 53706-1134 Resilient Landscapes Symposium Resilient landscapes will be the topic of Allen Centennial Garden’s upcoming signature spring symposium, a series designed to explore cutting-edge, provocative ideas and emerging trends in horticulture and design. This year’s event, set for March 22-23, 2019, will feature resiliency in the landscape, focusing on robust and adaptable ideas and individuals that are navigating an uncertain frontier. It will explore a “new garden ethic” and share intuitive methods to manage landscapes with “know maintenance.” The discussion will cover two of the greatest contemporary public landscapes on earth: Millennium Park in Chicago, and the High Line in New York City. The event will feature a panel of local changemakers and trendsetters who are pioneering resilient landscapes in the Madison community. There will also be a special showing of the award-winning documentary movie “Five Seasons: The Gardens of Piet Oudolf.” More information here: https://uwccs.eventsair.com/QuickEventWebsitePortal/acg19symp/info Tickets: Monday, January 14: Presale for members of Friends of Allen Centennial Garden Monday, January 21: Presale for Garden stakeholders and sponsors Monday, January 28: On Sale to Public (Early Bird pricing until February 18th) *Wednesday, March 20: Ticket Sales Close Registration Fees: General Admission Early Bird: $95 ($76 for Friends of Allen Centennial Garden Members) After February 18th: $115 ($92 for Friends of Allen Centennial Garden Members)
