About Us

Pork King Good manufactures the finest and best-tasting pork rinds and cracklins in the world by using family recipes and manufacturing processes that have been handed down over three generations.

The original business, The Porkie Company of Wisconsin, was started in 1948 by Roman Rydeski in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In 1958, Porkie Company of Wisconsin moved to Cudahy where it found its permanent home.

After Roman retired, the company was handed over to his son, Rich Rydeski, and nephew, Tom Rydeski who continued running the family company until 2022 when Rich retired at the age of 81.

The company was sold to Lauren Koston of Pork King Good, the only current woman pork rind manufacturer in the United States and the second ever since 1957.

Lauren Koston started the Pork King Good brand in 2018, originally as a customer of the Porkie Co. Her completely innovative lineup of flavored pork rinds along with her best-selling pork rind crumbs (a zero carb breadcrumb substitute) have taken the industry by storm and shaken up the pork rind world as we know it.
